Relocating to Panama: Insights & Stories
Your passport to life beyond borders — Documenting our leap of faith from the U.S. to Panama and everything that comes after.
Why We Chose Panama
We’ve spent a lifetime building a family, raising three incredible children, and pouring into others. Now, with our nest officially empty, we finally asked ourselves — what would it feel like to pour into us?
I didn’t make this decision lightly. I researched nine different countries — from the Caribbean to Central America to the coast of Africa. I took my time, weighed the pros and cons, read expat blogs, joined forums, watched interviews, and asked hard questions.
After all that, Panama rose to the top. The infrastructure, the healthcare, the expat support, the cost of living — and the feeling I got in my gut. This was the one.
So I finally made the decision — not just to move, but to live. And thankfully, my husband was ready to leap with me.
Together, we’re stepping into a new chapter — not running away, but running toward peace, joy, and whatever this next season has to offer.
Over the next 30 days, I’ll be documenting our final stretch — from paperwork and packing to the quiet emotions no one tells you to expect.
This isn’t just a relocation. This is an intentional reset. A soft launch into a slower, better life.
Next Stop Panama.
We’re so glad you’re here.
